THE OKLAHOMAN NAMES OPTIONONE A WINNER OF TOP WORKPLACES AWARD FOR 2ND YEAR IN A ROW

Oklahoma City, OK – December 23, 2015 – OptionOne has been named, for the second year in a row, as the top small business employer in the 2015 Top Workplaces survey by The Oklahoman. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.

“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits.” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Claffey adds, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”

OptionOne is pleased to not only be named to Top Workplaces for 2015, but to be ranked the #1 in the Small Business category for the second year in a row. “We expect a lot out of our employees, and the only way to do that is through increased benefits and flexibility,” Jeff Wills, President said. “We empower everyone to make decisions and care for patients and their families as if they’re their own family members.” The company began a profit sharing program in January 2015, which has been instrumental in getting employees further invested in the direction of the company. Top Workplaces also designates one of the companies across all size categories to be the winner of the “Ethics” special award, which was awarded to OptionOne this year.  “Patient and employee satisfaction have always been what has continually motivated Jeff and myself to make our company better today than we were yesterday,” says Tracey Wills, CEO, who founded the company with husband Jeff Wills in 2011. “That is why we are particularly proud to win the ethics award, as it means our employees are strongly invested in truly helping better the lives of our patients.”
